My Story
Who am I? First, I am a husband of 51 years (as of 2026) to my lovely wife. We currently have five children and fifteen grandchildren.
Second, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I have spent my life teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in many different capacities as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: as a bishop, in a stake presidency (similar to a Catholic diocese or a Protestant regional district), as a youth leader, an early-morning seminary teacher, as well as a teacher for both adults and youth. Since 2011, I have been a stake patriarch providing spiritual guidance and blessings to various congregations in both Texas and Utah.
Third, I obtained a Business Management degree from BYU and an MBA from Indiana University. I had a successful career in corporate management and then became a business owner.
Retiring from my temporal pursuits, my wife and I had the unique opportunity to serve in the mission office of the Church’s England London Mission from 2016-2018. As a young man, I served a two-year, full-time mission in Finland.
I have not been active with social media. I never before considered creating my own website—and this website is not about me. So why now? Because in my retirement, I was prompted to write a book regarding Jesus Christ, our Savior. I hope everyone will read the book to more fully appreciate the majesty of Jesus Christ. Yes, other books have been written about Him, but I believe my book complements all the other books, and is a meaningful contribution to the literature regarding the Son of God.
I have outlined each section of the book and I have included a corresponding podcast. Please listen to the podcasts and decide if you would like to purchase and read the book. Your reviews are most appreciated. Please encourage all within your sphere of influence to visit my website and to read the book.
I intend to have weekly blogs and your feedback to them is also appreciated.
Do you know about Jesus, but still struggle to feel close to Him?
You’re not alone. Many believers know the name of Jesus Christ but quietly wrestle to feel His presence or understand His true nature. The Majesty of Jesus Christ is for those who feel a gap between belief and connection—between knowing of Him and actually knowing Him.
For centuries, Christ has been described by creeds as “incomprehensible.” But that's not the Savior the scriptures present. Through restored scripture and prophetic insight, this book reveals the Jesus who is glorified, tangible, and deeply personal—the Savior who knows you and wants to be known by you.
The Majesty of
Jesus Christ
